Changes to Three Roaming Charges

Effective from 3^rd February all 3 UK roaming prices have changed to the following:

In EU:

·         For voice calls made within the EU, the price will increase from 25p (21.28p ex VAT) to 34p (28.94p ex VAT) per minute.

·         For voice calls received within the EU, the price will increase from 10p (8.51p ex VAT) to 15p (12.77p ex VAT) per minute.

·         For voice calls made to non-EU countries, the current charges vary between 80p (68.09 ex VAT )to £2.40p (£2.04 ex VAT) per minute and in future,

      customers will just pay £1.80 per minute (£1.53 ex VAT). .

Outside the EU the biggest change involves Australia and the US:

·         Roaming calls made in these countries - the current charges vary between 80p (68.09p ex VAT) to £2.40 per minute (£2.04 ex VAT) and now it'll be

      £1.40 (£1.19 ex-VAT) per minute.

·         Roaming calls received in these countries - the current charges vary between 30p (25.53p) to 80p (68.09 ex VAT) per minute , will change to 90p

      (76.6 ex VAT) per minute.

Texting from abroad will increase from 25p (21.28p ex VAT) to 35p (29.79p ex VAT) per text sent.

These changes also see the reduction in roaming price bands from 7 to 4 as band 0 a/b/c become “band 0 EU & Selected European countries”, band 1,2,3 bands

become “band 1 non-EU”, band 4 becomes “band 2 non-EU”. This should make roaming charges a lot easier to remember for both customers and staff.

All 3 customers who call or go abroad will be notified of the pricing changes via SMS. In the SMS, there will be a link to a micro site that details our international &

roaming prices. In addition to this, the price guide & our websites will be updated.  Please ensure that you are not displaying price books with the old pricing
